The Lady Has Returned

As of last weekend, the Lady has returned to Loch of the Lowes ...... Amazing !!

Yes they said at the weekend they were 98% sure it was her. Also 2 are at Rutland water might be more now. I went to see them at Rurland last year. It was amazing how they tracked the one that died last year when it left here for Africa.

And she's mated already.

The first male back at Rutland Water was a fortnight or more ago in the snow. Cue wonderful picture of him on his nest in a blizzard.

This is great - and amazing - news! - you can tell from the site blog how excited the wardens are, that she's come back, on time, for an astounding 23 years. Good on you, Lady!
