Just wondering how many of us use desktop pcs and whether they really have gone out of fashion.
I have two, both over ten years old. I run W10 on one and dualboot W10 and Linux on the other. Both are coming to the end of their lives and I will have to buy a replacement in the next few years. I will probably go for a large monitor and a mini pc - no need for floppy disc drives or CD/DVD writers these days.
If you do have a PC, do you also have a tablet, laptop or other device? Can you see yourself ditching the PC for good? I use one program a lot, I rely on it, and it is only available for Windows PCs, so I could get by with a laptop but I like a large screen and an excellent keyboard.

Not as much as I thought it would when I bought it, but it is awkward being further from my face than a tablet and my arm aches after a while (poor me). I have everything backed up to the cloud and a large hard drive which is connected to the network but it is also on my main PC.
I do find I am left alone 'to get on with it' when I'm using a desktop wheras if I'm on my iPad I must be 'playing' and can be diverted to other things.
You advised me about your mini PC a while back, TTT, which helped convince me that it is worth considering. Is it attached to the back of a monitor?
I always liked the look of an iMac, ferlew, but never fancied owning one, although I like my iPad well enough - it nearly does everything my Samsung tablet does 😉
I no longer use a desktop PC, preferring to use my Lenovo X250 laptop (running Windows 11) instead. I paid just £120 for it, about 18 months ago.
I've also got an excellent Android tablet, which cost me just £50 brand new (including carriage & import VAT) when I ordered it directly from China. I use it almost exclusively for logging radio contacts when I'm operating away from home. (I tether it to the wifi from my Samsung Galaxy A12 phone).
