The blackbirds who tap on the window for currants etc, have brought their offspring in this morning. Just the one, but he/she is bigger than the parents.
It hasn't the nerve yet to come on the sill, but it sits on the fence begging from mum.
Not seen the thrushes' offspring yet though.
I have a hard plastic ball that I keep in the kitchen. If ever I see a cat looking over my fence, I go out and throw the ball at the fence. You should see them scarper. The noise frightens the life out of them.
Tilly, I love all critters, I have a cat, he is 14 today, he don't have the energy or the inclination to chase birds.
There is another cat close by that attacks mine.
Little fattie is now visiting the window sill regularly, not at all bothered by us watching him. We saw dad offering him a beak full of insects yesterday.
