....This weekend at Derwent reservoir. With bit of luck we should get hen harriers, peregrines and fingers crossed a pair of goshawks displaying.

Melv, I've just been reading the RSPB, March e-newsletter and watched the
HLF-funded Skydancer Project film.

Have you seen it? It's very moving.

Good luck with your bird watching at Derwent Water. I hope you see all those fabulous birds.

They were stunning pictures,tilly. If only the gamekeepers and shooting fraternity that like to blast living creatures from the sky would leave them alone!

Nowt, Tilly. Apart from 1 heron, a few siskins and some mallard.

My partners sister lives in Roundhay (Leeds), and got some red kites flying very low over her garden last week. The new neighbour has started feeding them :-)
What do you feed to Red Kites? Dead rabbits?
