How about a sticky Ed for helping Molly raise some momney for their Sea Cadets Boat that was shown on BBC East (with her).

We came up with the idea of sending £5 or £10 to their Treasurer of the Cadets with the address c/o TS Europa, Lowestoft Sea Cadets, The Drill Hall, st Peters St, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR32 1QA. This avoids the "personal details" issue.

I think some 25 plus of us have already pledged

Thanks......

as is everyone else that is giving their hard earned money .....
" got drunk and got married trigger. You'd have thought I'd have learned by now... :-(
and it's been consummated, so I can't appeal to the Pope."

Salla, was just reading through this again to catch up and read this totally incorrectly.
I missed out the 'got'!!!!
Just so everyone knows. It is not just Mollys sea cadets who are losing their boat it is happening to most if not all. I know our local group are also raising money to buy theirs. Ridiculous if you ask me. Our local Royal Naval Association is helping with some of the money but the cadets themselves are off packing bags etc etc to raise the rest of the money
well talking of hypocrisy, whe JoggerJayne offered to send millykins money and encouraged others to do so, she was berated as being weird and stalkery!
Personally i can't see why anyone would want to contribute unless they are in the sea cadets, really like boats or live in the area.
Especially when the recipient always seems so ungrateful
bednobs this could be never ending I suppose, I can give you my reason for giving a fiver to the girls cause,
I saw her and her pals as doing something worthwhile with there time instead of hanging around being abusive to anyone they chose, to me this was worth every penny of that 5 quid and people like those in sea cadets, RAF Cadets etc, etc, appear to be nice young people who will make nice adults

if im giving £5 to charity. im sorry, but i can think of more deserving causes than a boat ! but well done to anyone who contributed,
I think it's entirely up to individuals what they give and to what chairity and for what ever reason they choose to give.

I would not give to this, but probably would give to our local sea cadets. My choice.
" My choice"
is the operative word here LL, well said
it is everyone's personal choice and reason to do whatever they wish to without being castigated and called Hypocritical imo

I can think of far more deserving causes that I can choose to give to ..I live about five miles away from Molly and there are some extremely rich hoteliers and local businesses round here who could be putting their hands in their pockets .
I'm more concerned that they are cutting our local coastguard services and that 40 men are going to lose their jobs .
