It seems we're not getting any changes on AB 'til after xmas so I've set up a grotto for us. Sorry it's a bit like a scene from Great Expectations but I've sprayed a few cobwebs silver & blown the dust off me doileys so please come in & sit down.
What do all the biddies/grumps want to find in their wrinkly stockings this year then? Do you like all this festivity or will you be the grumpy gran/grandpa from hell this year?
Please feel free to take a present out of the bran tub as you leave by the way. Contents may be unidentifiable....oops sorry...be varied.

I'm enjoying the piccies! They're cheering me up as I had to take my new car back today as there's a fault with the accelerator and I'm not happy as I only had it in December!! Anyway they are going to ring me as soon as they get the part for it but I'm definitely not happy so keep the piccies coming! :o)

jno you poor thing - I feel so much better now although I have to gum all my food, and the hurty tooth was not the one that's been bad for a year, need another extraction (but shan't bother until it hurts) and need a crown. How much more do you need???

Jude123 - Thank you for kind thoughts. It's nice to slowly get back to normality, although the next hurdle is yet to come at the end of the month. We're all dreading it.

I'm yawning my head off now as I had the worst nights sleep for years - crying into my pillow & thinking all sorts of things - but no doubt I'll be zonked out by 10:00pm, hopefully. Nitey, nite & thank you again all. -x-

Neti sorry I haven't cracked how to send pics yet. I think you sent me a link before Christmas on how to do it and I will have a go soon when I have some time. To tell the truth I'm not very good on the PC. Only found this site by accident! But I'm pleased did. :o)

Jude it took me months with instructions from hundreds of people. smudge made me understand how to do it, it was so much easier her way.

for heaven's sake Biddies, it's January 6, the shops are full of easter eggs, and still there are mince pies lying round. I've been trying to hoover round the back room but have sucked up several paper chains, thousands of pine needles and what appears to be a drunken elf. I shall take him to the national elf service. The rest of you get on with the Harpic.

What a luverly photo Vinny. thanks jno for cleaning up - I am more ornamental than functional (I wish!!) but it's like Xmas Day here so am having a leisurely day. Am cooking a leg of lamb which is a treat here as not many about, took me hours to catch it last night, loads of complete sheep but not many single legs running about. OK so I am mad also.

Bonjour Bideeeze!

I wondered what had drawn me here.....it'll be the smell of that lamb cooking - at least it's not harpic & flit for once. I've been trying hard not to eat meat for quite a while now, haven't had lamb for years, but I do eat fish & a little chicken.

Shopping Vinny? I went yesterday - I'd have done better in that queue on your pic....couldn't find a decent hen's egg never mind a chocolate one jno.
I think we'll have to be more self sufficient Biddies so we'll start with keeping chickens...might have to rent a space in H & G though. Right Vinny you can build a hen house & as neti & woofgang seem to be the early risers they can collect the eggs. If we get any problems our Cetti will know what to do. That leaves the rest of us to get creative in the scullery......starting with shaneystar
