The subscription fee would not determine if you can access The AnswerBank or not. It would only disable adverts. We're not sure how much the subscription would cost but for the purposes of this poll, please answer assuming the fee would be an amount you would be comfortable with. If you would never pay any fee, no matter how low the cost, please respond "no".

From the Site Rules, "Any instances of members recommending other members to download an AdBlock for use on The AnswerBank will be removed."
I've said no, as I have never had adverts anyway, on a phone.
If it had to be one or the other, I would pay a subscription, depending how much. Adverts used to make mobile devices unusable here.
The advantage is, no spam, as few people would keep trying a site where they had to pay to spam, and were immediately banned.
The disadvantage, I suspect most long-term posters found the site by mistake- and may not have joined, if there was an immediate payment needed.
It would also mean, if people were suspended, they would need to know how long for, so they aren't paying for a site, they can never rejoin.

PRUDIE, nothing to do with me. I seen your post, went looking for the Ad Block bit in the Site Rules in case someone was tempted to post a response.
When I posted my bit, your post was there still and I did nothing else.
