I see someone suggesting on another thread... Iceland on the verge of bankruptcy... island goes up in flames... sounds suspisiously like an insurance scam!

gosh it's empty in here! Have the skies at AB been banned, cannot any of you get in?
Oh well, I'll do a bit of dusting, and throw away all these gin bottles (where's Lampwick when you need him, after all they are her bottles!)
Hope woofy and shaney are feeling better. I have a hurty cold sore coming on my lip but that's cos I pick it!

Has the volcanic ash hit Ibiza? The next village up on a hill has disappeared completely and there's a dreadful smell of smoke. It could, of course, be a sea roach which smells of smoke? nah! Probably some idiot has lit a bonfire and there is a sea roach thus causing dreadful pollution and limited visibility. I HATE BONFIRES! Just when I am washing all my loose covers, they will reek of smoke. <<< grrrr>>> of course sisters may not arrive via Ryanair on Saturday!

OK help needed. Now this is embarrassing. How can you tell if there ware mice in a cuphoard. Am just cleaning out a very rarely used unit in kitchen where I keep spare dishes etc. It's been smelling of dampy earthy type thing and now I've found some funny little greyish pellets, all even sized at the back of the unit. I have a very good mouser cat who sleeps in, in the night and I'm sure she would indicate that we had mice. No food or packets have ever been disturbed or nibbled, and have never seen a mouse at night when I roam with the a dim light, and believe me I would see anything that scurried across anything!! What is the general opinion cos I've never had them indoors. Obviously living here the cat hunts early morning (when I have let her out about 5 or 6 am) and kills rats and mice.
well there might have been mice who left. They are devils for not scooping the poop.
My suggestion would be to clean out the cupboard then sprinkle in some non edible powder (talc?) and see if you get footprints.
Nice thing about having a new kitchen? I don't have to clear out the cupboards for the next thousand years :-)

when the kitchen man ripped out our old kitchen, he found packeted stuff down the back of the cupboards (our lower cupboards didn't have full height backs, id you piled stuff too high it went down the back between the cupboard back and the wall) dating back to the 1980's...I lied and said it must have been the people who had the house before us
