my profile says i have 2 answers to a question i ask but in the actual question there is 0 answers what causes it to do this?

When answers are removed the counter doesn't seem to show this until the system brings everything up-to-date overnight. So, it could be that someone posted offensive (or otherwise inappropriate) posts and these have now been removed.
