What on earths happened to the old set up?

I havent been on here for a couple of weeks (been on hol)

Its just not the same -- I dont like it at all

There have been lots of comments good & not so good about the new layout whilst you've been away.

There have also been lots of changes to AB over the years, but like us 'oldies' I'm sure you will get used to it - in time!

sorry for coming across as a grumpy ole thingy, but I suppose that I will just have to get used to it, like other people have to .(haha) I put it down to me being a cocoa slurper.

Totally happy with the new AB, it works great, very user friendly, really looks like the old one now and there are all the features you could want except the few mentioned above. Can I ask something tho, if someone else uses the same avatar as another user would it be deemed as impostering? I am jumping the gun i know, but i envisage a day when we no longer look at user names, just scan the avatar and assume who the user is.

Smudge try hold down alt and then press f5. if that doesn't work what browser, I use firefox and IE and the lines are there for me on both, you may need to upgrade to the latest version.

I only get lines between the questions if I use Firefox, not IE or through my AOL. Will this be sorted out as I don't like Firefox?

Thank you ummmm. I know there were other AB'ers who didn't have lines between posts either. That's the only thing on my wish list at the moment (well there are other things, but the Tech's are working on them) -x-

We did have a lovely holiday, and guess what ? were off again on friday for another 2 weeks.

Thanks for the suggestion Chuck, I've just upgraded to IE8 & I now have lines!

The posts no longer merge & are much easier to read! ;o}

well I never, I've just checked again in IE and the lines are not there, sure they where last time I looked with IE!

also Ed can you get it fixed so links all work correctly, a lot of links fail if there are certain characters in them, such as
