It is my opinion that the Ed should publish a list of all words which have been banned for further use in the columns of AB.
There are many words in the English language which are now being used for purposes for which they were not originally intended and I understand are no longer permitted for usage in AB. e.g. Fag gots( if spelled without a space.) Consequently, I would find it difficult to ask for a recipe for such in the 'Food and Drinks' section.
sathy-the poster is more likely to see your query on one of your own questions.....try that.
Oh...and no one gives out phone numbers-it's really not a safe thing to do.
Prynhawn da......Diolch yn fawr....../ ..Sorry. I'll start again in English...../ Good afternoon...Thanks very much to all who have contributed to this thread. However, if at any time you feel it appropriate to swear at me; please do so in Welsh to get it past AB's filter.:-)☺☺☺
Perhaps we could have the red *edited by answerbank editor* box back on emended posts ?
It would save the puzzled 'What happened there....? I typed *******" threads which, in turn, are followed by " I meant **********" and the final "Oh, I see what's happened".
Rather than being made aware of a list of inappropriate words so as to avoid using them - would it not be a more mature approach for everyone simply to express themselves in standard English - rather than referring to a list of 'banned' words?
