Inspired by a suggestion from Ann86.

Do you have any photos you've taken and would like to post here?
They could be from a basic 'point n shoot', a high falutin' DSLR or a scan from a pic taken on an old film camera or maybe just something you snapped on your phone.
Maybe you could give a short account of the circumstances eg. where/why it was taken, what memory/feeling it holds for you.

Christ Zacsmaster, is that Langdale? Wherever it is, that is one fantastic picture.
Question Author
Bibblebub, that's amazing, is that in Dorset?
Question Author
I like the seasonal difference aspect Mamya :-)
oh, just gone back a page and seen the pix by Bibblebub and ZacsMaster. Remarkable how colour in one, mono in the other, can be so different and yet so effective
I think some of the images here are excellent, mine are poor and personal in a way - but then diversity is everything, it is a pleasure to see them all.
have you tamed that bird, shaneystar? Birds in my garden take off as soon as I look at them. In fact I only have to open a cupboard door inside the house and the sudden change of light has them shooting off.
it's the eye that matters, not the camera, mamya. Yours are fine. They look so calm.

(okay, now you can tell me it's actually 20 feet of floodwater...)

Keep em coming in folks, whether your pic was taken from something high tech or very low tech, it's about the 'moment' afaic.
Scan an old pic or a pic from a disposable camera or something snapped on the spur of a moment from your phone if you want.
