Like most others, I too have a feeling that Dumbledore will appear in some form in Book 7. Killing him off now is just JKR using a typical plot device to make it all look utterly hopeless, help bring out Harry's true colours and keep the spotlight on Harry. Tension and release.
Seriously regretting not waiting a year or so to read this - 2 more years to have all of our questions answered!
Second, if Harry's the heir of Gryffindor (as different people have speculated since CoS), it would make sense that Voldemort would be extra interested in making his body into a repository for bits of his soul.
As for harry being a horcrux. I hadn't thought about it until reading it here, but I think it makes alot of sense. Of course voldermort didn't mean for it to happen. I think it happened as part of the prophecy and his parent's spells. I also think that's why harry has so much of voldermort 's powers in him. It makes perfect sense. Nt sure how it will end. I fear that he will likely die as a result (killing the physical vold. first). But maybe he lives. Because he's a human, maybe the soul is different and will die when the other vold. souls die. Or maybe that's Harry's destiny - to live his life battling the dark magic deep inside him.
the next book can't come quick enough!!
Harry is not a horcrux and there is one that was made for Gryfindor, 16 years ago voldemort was lookin not for harry to kill but for a special unique item that was located at Lilly and James House, for voldemort had killed james but it wasnt becuz james was protectin harry james had something that was linked with gryfindor and voldemort needed it for his 6 and final horcrux the 7th being himself, james denied him axxes to the item so he killed james, then he went on and killed lilly later and attack harry, now in between i think he found the item he was in serch for and split his soul again turning it into a horcrux, so harry is going back to his old home as he said at the end of HBP in serch for this.. telll me wat u think
As for the whole thing about AD coming back, I just don't think rowling would do that...she seems to mature as the series goes on, and bringing back AD just seems like the typical happy ending that I don't think rowling would do. I mean, I'd LOVE to see him come back, but I don't think it will happen. It would be like Sirius coming back, and I just don't think rowling's into the whole "happy ending for the sake of a happy ending" thing.
And about Harry being the horcrux, I think someone mentioned earlier that in 'Order', they mention that voldemort can't stay in harry's body without it being painful, and I think this makes it difficult to make harry a horcrux.
And this may sound too crazy, but is it possible that someone we already know has the initials R.A.B. but has gone by a different name throughout the book? Like, in HBP, Snape turns out to be a half-blood when you'd think he was pure-blood...do you think rowling has some kind of a twist like that when it comes to R.A.B.? Regulus just seems too weak to be up to something against voldemort without having been caught...
This is my theory.. (and don't read this unless you've finished the book)
I believe that Dumbledore can return. Here's why. I think that Snape was SUPPOSE to kill Dumbledore - I think Dumbledore told him to. Because Dumbledore is way to smart and powerful to just go out like that. And I think Dumbledore knew about Snape making the Unbreakable Vow (and we all know that if Snape breaks it he'll die)
So this is what i think all summed up...
Snape was suppose to kill him, and Dumbledore can return because i believe that Dumbledore himself had recently made a Horcrux (because when you make a horcrux a part of your body starts to change or break down - just like what happened to Voldamort) - In Dumbledore's case it was his rotting hand. (That was never fully explained in the book.)
Please re-post everyone and tell me what you think...

RAB blacks brother.....the locket is with kreature or stolen but i strongly believe with creature for hte reason the book cant be much longer than the others. Searching for all horcruxes and preparing for voldemore.
Harry is not a horcrux because voildamore tryed to kill him to make a horcrux he needs to cast the spell to put his soul in harry. At the time he was protected by his mothers love so his soul wouldnt have been able to survive....one thought tho how did he come back he MUST have had 7 horcruxes to come back to life again but just a thought.
Nagini is voldemores pet like AD's pheonix. maybe AD had a horcrux in the pheonix it would make sense since it cant die but i really dont think so......lol
Snape is still good and will give info on horcruxes
Harry sacrifices himself to save someone after disposing all horcruxes.... killing voldamore and any chance of him coming back even if harry is a horcrux.
