Hey guys! It's been a long time since I haven't painted. This is my latest painting and I'd love to know your thoughts on it:

HEADS UP! IT CONTAINS NUDITY!
I've also provided you with a little description:
When Death arrives, you don't know where it takes you. You don't know if you'll be conscious afterwards or merely a flesh consumed by worms. But you leave everything behind. As naked as the day you were born on earth, you leave your loved ones and your properties. Whether reluctantly or joyfully you take Death's hand and leave.

The skeleton pointing at the man's penis seems to me to be too obvious; there's no room for the viewer to wonder what's going on. The right hand side of the picture is too large an extent of blackness, and the skull is hanging in the darkness in isolation.
It's a striking and memorable image, but it leaves me dissatisfied. It's certainly not bland and forgettable.
There's one opinion for you. :-)

I'm not all that keen t.b.h.. It feels rather crudely painted compared to your others and Death (whilst I understand that it is looming and omnipresent) seems too 'heavy'. Yes, the androgynous figure with male genitalia signifies both male and female i.e. the old truism that we will all die - and it looks sad and accepting, but I'm sorry, it just doesn't 'grab' me. A bit too heavy with the outlines perhaps?
Atheist/ I always enjoy reading your answers. They're insightful and I love them. The only thing I'd like to object here is that the skeleton's (Death's) hand is not pointing to the man's genitals. If you draw a line on the picture you'll see that Death is pointing to the man's hand and if you put the hand aside Death's index finger will reach the man's knee. However if you perceive it to be this way, I can assure you that wasn't my intention.
Heretoo... I think the simple, naive style is insufficient to give me satisfaction like your other work did. There's not much mystery here, not much scope for the viewer to imagine what's going on. If this was a detail from a large work with other characters and incidents it might be better.
But it's your work and you are the one who decides what to paint. I hope that our reactions are helpful and informative, rather than negative.
Good luck.
(I don't think that the words you have added do much for me. I see a painting as a painting, not requiring written analysis.)
