after YET ANOTHER row with mr bednobs about the amount of space all the books i have take up, i have decided i will buy an e-reader. The best value one atm seems like amazon's kindle. Does anyone use one? Any problems? What is the range of books like? Are they expensive? Or other recommendations?

I'm holding off till the price drops, more versions of the technology come out and more/cheaper books are around.
Plus, bet it's a sod if you drop it in the bath.
I'm waiting for the colour versions to emerge

Plus are you really going to buy all those again on electronic format?
Why not upgrade to a smartphone? One less device to carry around (and probably less expensive). Although the disparity isn't as bad as it was, last I looked ebooks were stupidly over-priced considering the production costs must be negligible.

Thanks people for your thoughts. i was thinking of getting the kindle cause it's £109 now. I'm not sure they will go down much more, especially not this year as xmas i coming up
I'm also not sure what particular advantage colour will give. I will not buy the books again, (it's just to stop me buying more!)but am a bit concerned that there aren't all that many in the kindle store. prices seem good for the books - for example the tony blair one is £6.99 and the cheapest ive seen it in the shops is around £12.50, but if the range is crap then price is immaterial really. More thinking needed i reckon!
