Does waxing hurt?

I am going to have my legs waxed on Wednesday and just wondered how much it hurt? I am a bit of a wuss when it comes to pain, had my eye-brows done a few weeks ago and my eyes wouldnt stop watering! lol Thanks xx

JJ I've only ever tried to wax myself once and soon discovered it just wasn't happening, got the wax strips on but couldn't bring myself to pull them off, ended up peeling them off, which probably hurt even more lol xx

Lol, haven't got the guts to get the front bottom done hehe, and my mouth wasn't as polite as that lol luckily it was a friend of my sisters that did it so wasn't too phased by it hehe xx

Legs are quite a large area of skin aren't they? Might be easier on a smaller area.

Lol JJ, I didn't know I could come out with such words! hehe. I know redman, I am petrified of spiders, but still a wimp when it comes to pain, I really had to grit my teeth being waxed, it wasn't something that I enjoyed x

Have you seen the "paper pants" you can wear when you get your bits done?

You're flat on your back, with your legs open, and some Eastern European girl who speaks no English pouring hot wax on your front bum ...

... and they feel that you can retain your dignity by wearing big paper pants, which the beautician pulls to one side.

There was a brilliant sketch on Smack The Pony with a woman who had all this fluff sticking out of her cozzie. Actually, it was a bit gross.

But ever since then, if we see a woman who's a bit "untidy" down there, we go ... "Oh my god, Smack The Pony!"
