Does waxing hurt?

I am going to have my legs waxed on Wednesday and just wondered how much it hurt? I am a bit of a wuss when it comes to pain, had my eye-brows done a few weeks ago and my eyes wouldnt stop watering! lol Thanks xx

Good news roxie is that the next time on your legs won't hurt as much if you have it done regularly, the hairs will be finer and easier to "dislodge."

Jayne, your imagery about the Germans is wonderful. We had Finnish girl on our post grad course and her (black) "triangle" stretched up to her belly button - poor thing.

I much prefer "without"........but I suspect Veet is less painful than wax...as long as your skin doesnt react or you get the cream in the wrong place......Yeeeeowwwww

I don't think Veet lasts very long, and I'm not sure how smooth it gets you.

Unless you're going to use a razor every day, you have to wax, really.

Yes I had to shave pretty much everyday, never did though because I couldn't be bothered lol. So a few minutes of pain is worth it haha xx

I only had a wax once - never again!! Just use Nair now.
