Hair styler
1241 Answers
I'm looking for a new hair styler . My old Nicky Clarke has given up .
Well ,let's say it went ..bang ,and I jumped abut a lot :)
What I want is a hot brush type thing ..not a straightener ..just one of those ones that give your hair a bit of bounce . Like a blow dry brush but electric .
Any recommendations......thank you .

had a very nice time on the river - lunch in Richmond, cruise to Hampton Court, and back by train. Free travel for biddy badge holders, of course

Morning all, lovely September back-to-school weather here too, dew on spider's webs etc.
That sounds idyllic jno...Hampton court's such a beautiful place.
I enjoyed Mrs Biggs too shaney. I can watch the Dallas repeat (on Friday at 8pm). Love the sound of your haute cuisine tea :) I had a ready meal & a choc ice (not all at once), I could barely lift a knife and fork let alone a saucepan.
I need to pop out for some anti histamines, I daresay the bugs haven't finished with me yet. Then it'll probably be a lolling in the garden afternoon, might as well enjoy it while it lasts. I'd better go and get suitably dressed, I can't possibly face the world in this terribly common t shirt... rolls eyes
(Apparently M&S had a free delivery day yesterday, I'm annoyed their mails are arriving 24 hrs too late).

Lottie apparently this is new and the business for dealing with fleas on dogs or cats. You need to treat the house at the same time.

Hi all. Lovely morning and I'm really getting cracking with cleaning and catching up on jobs after my s days of appointments.
Enjoy your outing with your friend Lottie. I'm going to Nottingham with a friend next week as the Live at Lunch music sessions start again. Really looking forward to getting back to normal. I have an appointment to see Mr Heras Pelou next Wednesday hopefully then the plaster will come off and he will hand me over to the Therapy department.
I'm even doing a bit of left handerd sorting out in the garden at last. Not heavy stuff just trimming a pottering which as you say can be therapeutic. Hope you're all having a good day. \It's exercise time now. Laters 'gaters.

Hi all, busy today trying to book flights in Nov and of course its not easy.
Garlic is supposed to be good at preventing fleas mixed in with the food. and also course salt will kill off fleas in carpets and furniture, which we can ony do in winter otherwise it melts in the heat.
Hot here again have just been in the much cooler pool which is really really nice, off for a nap now as I'm tired!!!

Hi Biddies. Back from lunch.
Woofy, thanks for the link. I have just phoned the vets and they sale it. Haven't bought any because it is undoubtedly cheaper on line. Apparently you just pop them a pill when you see a flea on them or suspect they have them, and the fleas die almost immediately. But after 24 hours they lose the immunity and you have to keep popping pills. I would treat indoors, but the cat will go out and just pick up more fleas. Have to have a think about it.
I don't have fleas myself, but I eat loads of garlic.
Just wondering if my back will stand up to a short walk with Meggie. I haven't been for a walk as such for ages, but managed to get round Fakenham at lunchtime. It was lovely today. Bright sunshine, market in the town centre and the Bistro had brought all its tables out in a big area. It was like being in Ibiza!!
