I'm wanting to change my foundation and would like to know if someone can advise me. At the moment I'm using Estee Lauder Double Wear which is good as it lasts all day but it doesn't really brighten my face up if you know what I mean. I'm quite pale and always wear blusher but would like something to wake up my face.

The new Healthy Mix Serum foundation from Bourjois is supposed to be amazing at brightening up your complexion. It is only really suitable for people with normal/dry skin since it is a serum, hence why I haven't been able to try it :( Here's a link... http://www.bourjois.c..._mix_serum_foundation

They do have just a normal foundation version of it which may be better if your skin is a tad on the oily side.

That Clarins stuff is only £18 on Cheapsmells, my mum uses this website, she thinks it's great.

Just be aware that Beauty Flash Balm, although iconic, doesn't agree with everyone. It made me look all flushed and sweaty and I've seen other posters on here say the same thing. I also wear EL Doublewear, it's very good but I uses Smashbox primer - makes it smoother and more dewy looking.

Estee Lauder have a lovely product called Spotlight which can be worn under or over your foundation, it really brightens the skin. I also have to say that exfoliating your skin is especially important when wearing Double Wear

I was wearing some Bodyshop foundation the other day and three people on seeing me instantly said how great my skin looked. One of them said it looked like I'd been airbrushed - I'm sticking with it now and would recommend it to anyone.

I use Double Wear, too. It's great... but it's also quite thick and so it can look a bit dull.
They do a double wear light, which my sister has just bought. It's almost like a tinted moisturiser, but still gives the coverage of a foundation.
I don't think Estee Lauder foundations are the best for looking "dewy".
I sometimes use MAC, but again these can be quite thick.

When I've changed my foundation in the past, I've often found the cheaper makes (compared to Estee Lauder) to be a lot less "cakey" and therefore more fresh looking.
I recently used one by 'Soap and Glory', called 'Good Face' (?) and it was really light and fresh, and also had a built-in primer. You can get that from Boots, too.

I love rimmel lasting finish. I'm obsessed with it. I've tried lots of other, more expensive, foundations but this is by far the best. x
