Eyebrow threading

Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

It's been a glorious, warm sunny day here, just right for ...err...going to the tip, :o/ Sister phoned and when I told her I was going to attempt to sort out what in a former life was a coal house she offered to help. So we've battled through cobwebs, spiders and piles of junk that 'might come in handy', filled her car and got rid of it. Oooh, some people take really good stuff don't they? It's a good thing her car is small or I'd have come back with more than I took.

I realised that if my diy man is coming tomorrow I'd better do some clwaning and tidying so I have had a rather boring busy day. I am now rewarding myself with a glass of champagne.
Did I ever tell you my Surrey tip story? It was years and tears ago when we lived up there. We were queuing for a parking spot and I saw a lady dumping a le Creuset casserole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH said if I got out of the car, he would drive off and leave me!!

Have had a siesta, fell asleep drooling over my laptop and the cat, but all's well.

Well that rain has served it's purpose, the heat has gone, well at least for tonight.

Yes woofy, Mr N would have said the same. But here all the rubbish is left in certain places, and I often drag something wonderful back home. Have had many vacumm cleaners which work. I also leave good things there, ie a couple of cordless phones, boots etc. In the old days people would leave 3 piece suites, and they would go double quick. In fact walking back the other lunchtime I espied 5 nice sunloungers, but I couldn't even lift one, let alone drag it home, but I did try!!!!

I browse free cycle but the things I fancy wouldn't fit in my car.

It's a quarter to 3 and there's no-one in the place except Bro and Me.
Terrible night Saturday. Both ends working overtime! I really can't remember the last time I was physically sick. I must have been the chicken curry I had nwhen I got home from the match. Not eating properlyagain yet.
I can't sleep just feel sick all the time.

Oh Jude, so sorry. I hope you are feeling better by now. We went out in thick fog. Dogs didn't like it at all so we cut walk short. When we got back to the car, rab thought it was a monster and growled at it! bless.....

Morning all..dull but mild, I'm sure it's supposed to be sunny.

Oh poor Jude, don'cha just hate the hours between 2am and 5ish?, I know I do. Hope you feel better soon, I do think it might be a bug tho' and because you've a sensitive tum anyway you're struggling. I hate stomach problems at any end and I felt nauseous most of last week and then on Fri I thought I was going to explode at both ends but luckily fought it off.... Today's ailment is a sinus headache, tut.

I've just had an email from a dolls house site and I love this, I think it'll be in my sister's xmas stocking if she hasn't got one yet (I'll need a 'meeting' with her OH :))

Good morning poor jude, I do hope you have rested now and feeling better!

Much cooler today although still summer clothes.

I am in getting in such a mess with this damned waste paper, I decided to spin dry the sopping balls in a pillow case, the amount of was that came out was tremendous, but then I tumble dried them!! they all fell apart and blocked the dryer!!, so now it's like large cpnfetti with the names etc still visible!! So then I decided to burn the rest in the laundry room where there is water and two stone sinks, I only burned the name bits etc but what a palaver, so I gave up, I stink even though I have washed body and hair. Then I rinsed the ashes in the sink and blocked it, had to scope the whole sodden mess, which made hands and everywhere black. Still have a huge bag to get rid of!!

For goodness sake Neti ,cut your losses and go and buy a shredder !
Any names on anything you can black out with a thick marker pen before you dispose of them .What are you like :)
It's turned dull here now ..tut .
I love dolls houses but they would be too fiddly for my fumbly fingers .
I've been looking about for a new hobby .I did think of paper mache but having heard what a palaver it is .... :)
