Scalp irritation

I have had a residue on my scalp for a long time, it seems to come and go, i am using Suma, Naked and Faith in nature products, but my head still itch's ( i know i do not have nits) but not sure how i can clear this. Any suggestions?

you may have a skin infection, worth seeing your doctor if it gets weepy, you might need a course of medication

It's not sore, just itch's, it's not open wounds or sore's. Just want something to clear it, wondered if there was something that would clear it. It's embarrasing

Rinse your hair in salt water and leave for 5mins; final rinse in plain water. Do that for at least 1month - should clear up the itch.

you could also try coal tar shampoo, available at most chemists

Try either T/Gel by neutrogena (available in boots), or a coal tar shampoo. Either should help.

TGel's good, but so is polytar - and it's cheaper.

tried all the usual treatments,but eventually found
nizoral. worked for me

It could be psoriasis. T gel is good as previously mentioned but there may be cheaper alternatives in your local chemist.
