Have you ever had a professional facial done in a salon? Approx how much did you pay, was it worth it & how long did the effect last? I'd never really thought about it until a friend recently mentioned she'd like one so I'm considering going too - we could both do with a bit of cheering up.

I just loved cod liver oil and malt - in fact I loved cod liver oil on its own too. (strange person) What joy. We used to collect the little bottles of concentrated orange juice from the town hall. Yes, really yummy!!!

Yahoo back to you Shaney xxxx

A'noon....everyone ok? No Virol neti (well I don't think so), it was lovely. I expect it would be on the list of 'health hazards' for some reason or other nowadays.

Jude Lofty's one of those poor confused types, harmless though, she's wandered in for a curly perm & blue rinse I think....but if she thinks I'm doing her corns she'd better think again!

Can you just erm, read a mag & help yourself to Bovril or sommink, I'm a bit busy, I've got a man in..... Behave, I mean he's splashing some paint about....and I'm on tea/coffee duty.

Hello All including Lofty Hope you are all ok. Talking about all the tastes we remember as youngsters, My favourite was Minidex. Supposed to have been a tonic of some sort. But the taste was lovely. But I also remember we got cocoa from school which we used to dip our fingers in on the way home, Loverly!!

Well we've had a cold day today a bit different from my day in Bridlington yesterday which was brilliant. The sun shone all day and we had a paddle in the sea. My sister and me walked miles and had a really good day. We found a fish and chip shop recommended by the coach driver where we got fish chips and peas, bread and butter and pot of tea for 2 for 3.30 each. Bargain and very tasty.

Nothing on the box tonight of much interest so I expect it'll be back to my library books.

See yer later 'gater(s) !!
Hey Jude, I'm the mad one who used to be known by just two initials - one of the longest serving Biddiebabes in fact.
Oh, I forgot - I had another identity after that one ending with 'oo'
Hi Lofty or do you prefer Lottie I still don't have a clue who you are but never mind eh. I joined in September 2005 so I expect I'm new compared to you. anyway nice to meet you again.

Evening all - just did a full roast lamb dinner but these spanish ovens are the pits, impossible to clean as they are rough inside(!) so the spilt fat just burns time after time and tonight was so bad my eyes were watering. I ask you. Would love a modern electric one, but unfortunately don't have enough leccy coming into the house so everything would blow whenever i used it. I do normally use my little electric one, but leg of lamb just won't fit in!

You are funny lottie I didn't have a clue it was you and we used to laugh and agree on other threads!! Love it!
Nice to be back with you all Neti :o).

I am surprised you didn't know it was me. I didn't try very hard to hide my identity.
I shall call you lolo!
I've been called worse!!! x
