How long is it safe to take anafranil SR? Can it be used long term, for a year or so?

Hi Zulahoo...You may be interested in the link below...which tells you everything about Anafranil SR and hopefully will answer your questions...It looks like it will take several weeks before you begin to feel the benefits anyway...

Anafranil is safe to use long term-its been around for years and is one of the older 'tricyclic' antidepressants-it may have a few more side effects than the newer Prozac type of drugs,but it seems to have a pretty good safety record. There might be some weight gain though with long term use-I know from experience.Take care
