blood in urine
14 Answers
over the past few days i've had a strong burning sensation when i need to pass urine.
i also noticed that there was blood in it too.
any ideas to what it could be?
and will it pass?
or should i see a doctor?
i can't say i really fancy having someone having a 'probe' down there, so any advice would be greatly apreciated

Would NHS direct be able to write prescription for antibiotics? Would NHS direct be able to refer to hospital for investigation? The advice would almost certainly be either to go to your GP next day or go to Casualty Dept.

I never suggested NHS Direct could treat the condition, but Nat was asking for advice Today.
I suggested a way to get advice Today, for a condition that sounded to me as if it might need urgent attention.
You took the mickey out of me and said this concerned person should continue worrying until tomorrow.
Is FRCS for chartered surveyors? So does that qualify you medically?

Good morning PB
No FRCS does not make me a Chartered Surveyor, but yes FRCS does make me medically qualified. How about the MB bit might I suggest it stands for Miserable ******.
Olive leaf...yes you are right, I did take the Mickey out of you and that was unacceptable, unforgivable, and i apologise unreservedly.
Friends??
P.S I wonder how Nat13 is?
