I am currently on my period and feel really bloated, for obvious reasons as well as the fact that I have eaten too much chocolate and sweet stuff!

Normally I would take some herbal tablets for this kind of thing, but don't have any! I wondered if anyone could suggest any tips on how to sort this out with things that I would be likely to have at home? I am currently drinking some hot water and lemon, but if anyone had any other suggestions, that would be great!

I would recommend nettle tea. I have bad bloating and tender breasts before my period and its usually worse if my diet has been bad that month. It works for me, especially with a bit lemon in it, as it doesnt taste great. I feel the results within a day.
You can buy it at any health food store in teabag form.
