hi, i gave birth last week (you may have read my post about it in "pregnancy")
I am not seeing any midwives/health visitors owing to the circumstances of the birth. I was given 1 weeks worth of antibiotics owing to the circumstances too. I have stopped bleeding and would very much like to be close to my husband. How long do i have to wait before we can do it again? sorry for too much info! :)

My wife's been waiting 2 1/2 years....

Seriously, speak to a Doctor and good luck.

i was hoping to avoid going to the doctors as i'm finding it a bit troublesome to leave the house at the moment. I am also scared of people judging me, thinking that i shouldn't be thinking about that at this time :(
Hi Bednobs! Just want to say congratulations and very best wishes to you and hubby, and wish the wee one a long, healthy life. x

I don't know the answer though, sorry!

I'm sure you could call the nurse at your GP surgery for some advice. best of luck x
bednobs.. not everyone saw your posts last week x
Question Author
sorry, i should have made it clear - she was stillborn 9hence the antibiotics) i was wondering if this will make a difference
society you may want to look ate her post first, I'm sure she knows you are just being nice and didnt know. bednobs are you sure you are ready? I know you want to be close but how does your bloke feel about it all. Have you managed to have a good talk?
anibiotics shouldnt make any difference but just remember you wont be protected wither so you have to know that if you are to fall pregnant again you are ready to cope. xx
not fully protected as in condoms arent 100%
Question Author
please don't worry society, i should have made it clearer int he post, it's just still quite hard to type the word :)

thanks 4get, i never even considered that!!!!
Bednobs, Im so sorry of your loss....I think you and your husband need to be close, please dont worry about what others may think, being intimate with your partner is the most important part of being in a loving relationship and I think will do you both the power of good at this time....I wish you the very best x x x
just have a lovely chat together, go to bed, snuggle up and take it from there but be careful xx
How about getting in contact with a support group? Could help in more ways than just advice on that, being able to talk with others who have been through the same thing and to whom you can talk to about any issues which come up.
Question Author
actually, that's not a bad idea
Question Author
ps in answer to 4get, i never even considered he might not be ready. crap, i'm going to have to handle this carefully
Love the avatar bednobs, could have been designed for you ::-)
can't believe you've asked this question while chatterbankers are present lol.
Don't worry captin, bednobs is our mate ;-)
Bednobs - in answer to your original question I would say give it a couple of weeks. After that if you feel comfortable emotionally and physically then don`t worry about it
bloody hell bedknobs, I didn't realise ... sincere condolences to you both and your families.
