I had a colonoscopy exactly a year ago. The results were fine and the problem cleared up. I now have another problem there -bleeding - but I feel like a fraud going again to the doctors about this

dont be silly go to the doctor, better feel a fool than be dead
See the GP, likely to be trivial but you never know.
An awful lot can happen in 12 months - make appointment today!
You should always go to a doctor if you have any unexplained bleeding. When you see the people in the doctor`s waiting room coughing and sneezing, they`re the ones wasting the doctor`s time - not you.
g p ....... you wont be wasting anyones time.

From that, i assume the reason for the Colonoscopy a year ago was not for bleeding.

Is that so?

Trouble is I always have a lot of trouble with down there - when I got the results the doctor said I had a fissure but I have learned to live with that in fact after the colonoscopy the bleeding stopped. But I have noticed it has started again and it is not fresh blood this time

Sorry Squad - cross posting - last time it was for bleeding too as well my family history and weight were all taken into account
Well, I agree with the others.............see your GP.

I would be very surprised if it was anything serious.
Ric....a year is a long time. You won't look like a fraud. It's better to be safe than sorry..
First time I had a colonoscopy had to drink gallons of vanilla tasting gloop to clear me out. It did the job but now I can't stand the taste or smell of vanilla.
