Yep it's me again. My OH will not eat in hospital, he has pulled the tube they put up his nose into his stomach last night and I'm at my wit's end with the stubborn *&^%.
Will he die? What can they do if he continues to refuse nutrition?
Darling it will be and we do care, just know we are here if needing a word. I posted on the day my husband died and I do believe it stopped me going mad. ((hug))
Chrissa - so sorry. Keep talking to us if you need to - you may feel (as you say) very strange after such a difficult few weeks. Look after yourself, and you know that our thoughts are with you. Thinking of you ♥
I've got my son and his partner and my grandaughter, my daughter is here too. One lovely thing was, without her knowing it my daughter's boyfriend flew up from Southampton to Newcastle and then got the train up to Alnmouth, completely out of the blue.
My sister in law drove up from Surrey ysterday and saw him beore he died.
if his mental state doesnt improve he can be transferred to a mental health hospital where they can monitor him, or have a mental health nurse at his side 24/7 at the hosptial he is at now, to ensure that he doesnt pull it out anymore, particularly if his mental capacity is not at its best, and with the liver i think you said, this can release things into the body that cause a change in behaviour. hope things turn around for the best xx
