I an sick and tired of considering the needs and more often wants of the first wife...it extends to kids and i am feelimg like an unpaid home help that has to deal with all the issues of kids etc whilst being ignored and not considered when it comes to tickets for school etc...when I am the one that has promoted honework etc...she is thick as two short planks....

Calling her thick as two short planks? I know it seems unfair.. that is because it is... but unless you are really assertive and make a real stand against your other half you are not going to change anything....

Have a word with your fella then. YOu say it's him that doesn't stand up for you or owt. That is not the first wife's problem I'm afraid. You may have to state clearly what is and what isn't acceptable to you and don't do so much if it is causing you grief.
