What in your opinion are the first signs you are getting old?  Mines is that you start watching the news and  read the obituary page.

Grey hair is not the answer (I have been grey for years but I have a friend ten years older who shows no sign of greying). It is a behavioural thing.
I became extremely worried the other day as I found myself writing a "disgusted of Tunbridge Wells" letter about something really trivial (ITVs contemptuous treatment of their Grand Prix watchers actually). Never felt the need before. This is it. I am a grumpy old rooftrouser.

you're only as old as you feel. I'm onlt 21 yet most of these answers apply to me. apart from maybe kazzas. My mother's more with it than I am and she's 57.

One of the good things about getting old isi dont sweat the small stuff, and i dont give a toss what people think of me !!

When my kids were little, about 20-25 years ago, (maybe more), one of them asked me if there were dinosaurs when I was young. Cheek!

In spite of the aches and pains of growing older, I don't intend to grow old gracefully and anyway, there's only one alternative to getting old, isn't there? No contest.  :-)
