Why do women wear false eyelashes?

When I was a young Mod, Twiggy was my idol. I used to copy her false eyelashes and wore two pairs on the top lids and one pair with spaces in betwen the lashes, on the bottom lid. Made by Miners and bought at Woolworths. Those were the days ... By the way she was called Twiggy cos of her twig like false eyelashes. I dread to think what I was called. I had the same eye shadow in the sockets as well. Shame I didn't look like her ... I was short and rather podgy !! Look at this pic :

Depends on the type, some definitely look terrible but there's some that don't look too OTT.

They all look OTT on me China - my eyes are quite small so they are all too long. I know you can trim them but that spoils the shape. I look like Lilly Savage in them ;)

I often wear false lashes if i'm going out... They don't all look like that.

There's nothing quite so pretty as a lady who looks completely natural, no lashes, no fake tans, no three inches of slap, there's no need.

In this bloke's view less is more, touch of blusher to enhance the cheek bones or a smear of lippy. NATURAL is soooo much better girls.
