Wifie says baths though I remember my daughter having a cuddly toy that was scented and activated by the microwave, snuggling up to it helped her sleep. I prefer snuggling up to some other kind of teddy..;0)

Personally cant stick the stuff makes me sneeze, itch and brings my hay fever out like nothing else!!
can you put some in an oil burner with a candle under it?
It isn't a good idea to leave a candle lit when going to sleep/sleeping.
I sometimes just put a few drops on my pillow - it's lovely

Tinks - have you tried drinking pure Cherry Juice? - Have a glass during the evening. I saw this on that programme Food Hospital, Channel 4 a little while ago. Have tried it and it really works.
good morning tinkerbell.

i do hope you managedd to get some ecent sleep last night.
oops. too fast round the keyboard - mis-spelt a couple of words
I was told to rub it on the soles of my feet by someone at a lavender farm.
Don't apply essential oils directly to your skin-they can be quite harmful.

Tinks I have a Lavender pillow and room spray from the Body Shop. You spray it on your pillow or in your room about an hour before you go to bed. It works for me when I remember to do it! lol I hope you managed to get some sleep last night xx
pasta, you're right about essential oils, but lavender is one of the very few that you can put on the skin. Strange but true, it's actually very good applied directly onto the skin for a minor burn such as from an iron or a hot pan. Sounds weird, but it really works.
The link I supplied said 'not even lavender or tea tree oil'...though I admit to always using tea tree neat.
Oh yes, a lot of people use tea tree oil neat. I've never used it. Do you find it useful, pasta?

Thanks all!!! I slept pretty well!!!!! Woohoo!!

I just sprinkled some on my pillow and put the pillowcase back on.....xxxx
that's good to know .. thanks for telling us
Hi Ki-Ki...I've always used it for cuts and spots- It helps them to heel quickly. I also tried it on a bad toenail-it cleared it up. Just try on your skin first. Tea tree is supposed to be effective against 99% of bacteria.

Good tinks...glad you had a good night's sleep-I hope it's the first of a lot more.
