TONSILITIS

I have tonsilitis which have never had in my life before..stated five days ago and being my bad luck,it was a Saturday...no doctors surgery.At first it felt like I had something sharp in the side of my neck/throat.Monday I saw the doc man who gave me antibiotics..but I am not getting better as fast as I feel I should,whenever I have used them before after a couple of days have felt a great improvement....I feel as if I am dying...have been in bed on and off ,sweating terribly but if I get up am so cold,shivering in fact.

Supposed to be going on hols on this coming Sat...not a chance..fortunately,will be able to follow on when better,if I ever do.

Anyone out there had this and how long was it before they felt as if thwey were back in the land of the living?

For to tonsillitis hydrogen peroxide is the best, sorry tinkerbell.

I have every sympathy for you kloo I had it over the long jubilee weekend and like you the penicillin made me feel sick and I thought it would never go it lasted about 6 days in total but I did find the antiseptic throat spray a big help as well as the painkillers get well soon

Tinkerbell23...started taking Ibrufen and Paras this morning...can`t believe how much better I am feeling...you are a fantastic fairy!!!
