English Prescription in Wales
4 Answers
My father has been given a prescription in England, (free as he's OAP), with consultant instructions not to hand it in unless he really needs the medicine. As he is going on holiday to Wales, and I know they do it differently, would he still be able to hand over an English prescription to a Welsh pharmacy?

The only difference I am aware of is that prescriptions are free if given by a Welsh GP, but I have to pay (from England). This wouldnt apply to your father if his are free anyway so there shouldn't be a problem.
