Why does it say to use the whole bottle? How can you use the whole bottle if you only have short hair?

Yeah Boo, that's what I mean.

They don't want people to keep it for later use because it'll be buggered once youve mixed it after a couple of hours so they tell you to use the whole lot so there's none left to keep. (that makes sense in my head)

i do, just use it all up- mind you, i have really thick hair (matches my head I guess!) so i find by the time i got right through to my roots it's all used up anyway.
I need 2 bottles :-(
I guess it's so you don't think you can use half and keep the rest in a cupboard for another time.
You're only meant to do the hair on your head, Craft.
dont think you can do that can you Ev? Isnt it dangerous? I'm sure I read that it was somewhere.
Excuse me BM that's common............collar and cuffs don't you know.

I think you might be right, Evian.

I've had my hair cut and only needed half a bottle and that was trying to use it up. If I used it all it would be dripping everywhere.

Craft, how long is your hair?
Er its about 4 inches from my waist.................

Bloody hell. Mine was just below my shoulder blades and it was driving me nuts. I have a chin length graduated bob now.
ummmm I despair of what to do with my hair. It is absolutely poker straight (in the past I've been accused of wearing a wig). I can't have short hair as I have an absolutely crap flat crown, but if I have it chin or shoulder length I feel like a bag lady. No-one (except the daughter when she's dying it) sees how long it is as I always wear it up.

It's a pain. Mines curly, but not nicely curly :-(
I need two bottles too; not nearly as long as crafts but very thick and prefer to use more rather than not cover it properly!
Only mix what you need and keep the rest un-mixed. You can always mix more if needed but you cant store the mixed product, as it loses strength.
Question Author
I wouldn't know how much to mix and it's not worth taking a risk for £6.50. It turned out nice though.
The box has developer to tint, so it would be 50% less of both or as you want. You'll know for when you just do roots in 6weeks.
Question Author
I don't do roots. I just do the whole lot.
