Purpose - one month of the booze starting today, a support group to help, cajole, berate any ABers to meet this goal. The benefits being the drying out of the old leather known as the leather and a lack of ethanol in the body helping to lead to weight loss - which can be a couple of pounds a week.

You are welcome to join us and rant away with our grumps and withdrawal symptoms and then become all-saintly and righteous when we get towards the goal.

Any questions? Though sibs and I won't necessarily answer them. Will Sqad contribute on any medically related issues?

I'd join Fluff but have no willpower.
There is also a national a campaign called Dry January, I think.
I am sorry to say DT but you are talking botox.
Can I join in - I will beat all of you. A month is no time at all. I remember that last time I touched alcohol, was it 1981 or was it 1982.

Pepsi Max is my drug of choice - a day without it and I get shaky hands.

I supposed we can allow an exemption to those of the Hadrians Wall Northwards faiths and races.
Question Author
Yep Kiki......all you have to do is notify us if, when and how ethanol passes your lips in the month. We shall be asking at regular intervals if any have fallen by the wayside.

we may sign up goodlife and truthabunds to enact the wrath of the Devil for those who weaken! Decision on that one pending.....
Before you even bother, I should read this http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/9773705/A-dry-January-is-not-enough-to-revive-the-liver.html from today's Telegraph.

Quizmonster, I never claimed that this is the panacea to a healthy liver, but it's a good kick-start and I find actually makes taking a couple of days off a week in the rest of the year (except December) easier. And you do feel better at the end of the fast.
he's attacked the tantalus Gness, and Dicky won! :-D
Question Author
