I have a mystery. Still no action on my tummy. Friday is the deadline..we shall see but....When this all started I had very bad left hip and back pain. Since taking your advice and making some changes the walking and leg nuisance has improved a great deal...but not the hip pain. Last week it was excruciating...waking me and making getting out of the sofa in one go impossible and then I could barely walk forward.
Then I remembered that in the summer, when wearing heels, the pain eased, so I got the heels out....2" and wore them in the house. After three days I was pain free...no problem standing up and I could run up the stairs. Today I have been in bare feet and the pain has returned.
Why? Can heels be doing something to my posture that relieves something?
If so what? And do you know where I can buy high heeled walking boots?

In peripheral vascular disease, as we know that you have, before the days of bypass and statins, the treatment was to raise the heel of the shoes which released muscle pressure on the compromised arteries of the leg.

Bingo....old fashioned treatments work eh?

Glory be!!! Didn't know that....goodness. Would you not think someone could have mentioned this while I was waiting?
I cried one night last week because the pain was so very bad and a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes on the NHS would have prevented that.
So..... high heels in the house.....oh I shall look daft and I shall have to work something out for the bird watching and walking.
