Feels Like Hot Water Running Dowm My Leg.
26 Answers
My left leg (outer shin area) gets a feeling as if someone is pouring hot water down it (temperature of a hot bath). It never lasts long and I'm not worried just curious. Now my right leg has started, but its above the outer ankle area so lower down to the left leg.
Has anyone any ideas as to what it could be?
TIA..

It happened on the top of leg, on the inner thigh, and always seemed to happen when I was at the gym. When it first started happening I thought there was water on me (somehow) and would wipe my leg with my hand. Very odd sensation.
I Googled it (think I asked on here as well actually) and it seems it's failry common.
Mine just disappeared in time, but it's really annoying isn't it.

Thanks arwyn :)
It's really weird isn't it. I sometimes get a really warm sensation in the same place, but it's more like someone's holding a heat pad to the area, unlike the hot/cold running water thing.
I remember someone saying that MS suffers get this quite often - although I'm not suggesting for a minute you have MS! :-)

I just read that MS is quite complicated when it comes to diagnosing.
I'm having my bloods taken on Monday (dreading it!!) just so he can rule out anything else (suspected IBS)..
I actually phoned the surgery this morning and asked if I could permenently change doctors to the one I saw yesterday. She asked "why". I said "well I had more help from him in the 45 minute I was there, than in the past twelve years from my current GP". Anyway, she said no. Lol

Madmen when I was aged 21 I went to my G.P with a set of symptoms, He lent over, put his hand on my arm and said "Go home and take a look at your life because people imagine pain to seek attention".
Months later I moved to a new area and had to change G.P's, within weeks I was xrayed and told I had Spondylosis.
I'm now 50 and could write a book :)
