yes they do, i wouldn't buy any scales. I was watching a snippet of programme about dieting earlier, one woman said how much over the years she has spent on diet books alone, you could buy a house with the money,
and one thing that these people don't get is that is has to be diet, and exercise, and keep at it, because it just doesn't go otherwise. There was a very good programme on last night, two young brothers, both doctors doing an experiment on diet, what works on fat, sugar, its too long to explain - but the evidence simply shows that it's the deadly combination of foods we love that have high concentration of combined sugar and fats that are doing the damage, as we get fatter...

I didn't watch the proramme emmie but read about it in the paper. Ref the scales, it's just the idea that you should aim for a celebrity weight rather than a healthy BMI.
i must admit it seems ludicrous, i can't imagine wanting to stand on scales and see Russell Grants face leering up at me.
The Daily Maul apparently does.
