Should hairdressers / barbers use a clean pair of scissors for each client? I don't want my hair combed by the same dirty comb as others

Sweeny Todd had rather a unique method of dealing with complaining, and yes, nit-picking customers who sat upon his chair:)

I think they should, I also don't want other peoples bits or nits!
Better still, never go, cut your own hair like me!
It's been a long while since I've been to a barbers. Didn't they used to dip scissors and combs in a disinfectant?

Haven't been to a Barber for 20 years or so, set of Clippers, Number 4 all over head and Number 3 for beard, OH does the back of neck every now and again, job done.

Anyway, doesn't a decent Barber Shampoo before cutting nowadays?
Here in the U.S. barbers and hairdressers are governed by extensive sanitation regulations administered by the State in which the business resides. I've been in the barber's chair when my barber was inspected… came out smelling like a rose (the barber, not me)!
Heads are shampooed before tools are put to them. Combs are regularly washed between clients and dipped in Barbicide. Scissors/clippers/razors are flamed & oiled regularly.

Quite, Stuey. Apparently the pies got rave reviews.
Hey...Best answer! Thanks...Looks like I'm going to have a good hair day!
I cut my own. Of course that could be why it looks like Bob Geldof on a bad day and in a wind tunnel !
