Saturday. T'internet is behaving this morning...so far! :o}

Overcast here this morning. I can smell rain. Not so good for a weekend is it!

Tiggy is in fine shape, he spent some time exploring the garden and seeing off various gastropods before enjoying his supper of smoked pancetta, one of his favourites.

Not going to be doing much outside I don't think, the usual running about and more indoor jobs.

Morning minty xxx It wasn't too cold here, but it would have been nice if it was a bit warmer. I haven't been out yet, so don't know about this morning.

Morning svejk. We are hoping for £15 million from the lottery, The next bit of the restoration is the most expensive of the whole project, with three major engineering tasks to be done.

any crumbs you could scatter this way ?? lol.. that's a good amount to be awarded though

It is, but we have to find another £25 million, some will come from other sources and we have £5 million to find. It will make such a difference to the whole area when it's complete. We are waiting and hoping that Thames Water will chuck in a good wodge.

Yup. A goodly couple of bob isn't it!

There is a mile of missing canal to be rebuilt. including a railway bridge to be replaced, a motorway to get under and a major roundabout to get around. A bit more than a weekend's work! :o}
