Strange Dream
23 Answers
This morning I woke up with a worried feeling after a dream in which I had sold my house and bought another house without actually having seen it. In the dream I was in the last stages of moving everything out of my own house, to go to this place that I had never seen. Are there any Freudians out there who could tell me what kind of anxiety this dream might represent? Or is it just a straightfoward fear of getting older and losing independence? Opinions would be welcomed.

Could be something to do with that. I enjoyed the humour in some of your posts, as well as the more serious parts. Thanks again.
The dream is about moving ,transition, and worry about the unknown (old age). A house represents your conscious and subconscious, not your body. So the dream is about concerns the dreamer has about the future and worrying about if she should start to make plans ( represented by the moving) but not really knowing what the future may bring.
