'Abuse' What Does It Mean To You?
Society & Culture2 mins ago
I have been told i have increased pressure in my eyes, and one eye has a paler retina and deeper disc cupping that the other and given that my auntie has glaucoma it is likely the start of this - however
-I am only 33.
-it is more in one eye and hardly at all in the other.
-I can feel the difference in my eye - a feeling of pressure or bulging.
-my eyelashes point in different directions from the other side
-my peripheral vision is fine and I don't need glasses
all these are opposite to what is expected of glaucoma.
trouble is until i see a specialist i wont know - but that is going to take about 6 weeks.
anyone know of other possibilities that i could research. i recently had an mri scan so i know there are no tumours. and i don't have high blood pressure
many thanks

thanks for replying, but thats what i did and was first told about the pressure. they could not be certain it was glaucoma for the reasons i stated in my post which is why they are sending me to see a specialist. the tests indicated a suspicion but other factors made it dubious. they said its quite an odd situation.
thanks
