Hospital Stay

I am OAP, female, and will have a short stay in Hospital. Apart from nightdresses, what else should I pack?

I would take everything everyone else has listed, I always remember really wishing I had baby wipes when I was in. Some peppermints, if you're allowed them, one of those eye masks and some ear plugs, to help you block out the light and noises when you're trying to sleep. Cotton wool will do if you don't have ear plugs!

And finally a handheld device for logging on here, so we can keep you company and you can let us know how you're doing. Hope all goes well.

Telephone numbers of nearest and dearest on a piece of paper in case you need to ask someone else to contact them.

You get a jug of water but I took my husband one of the robinsons sqeazy fruit cordials and he loved it. Just a little sachet instead of a bottle .
