I've got type 2 diabetes, but did not display any of the normal symptons, only showed up during the tests after my stroke.Apparently loads of people are diabetic but keep it under control by their normal diet and way of life.

I have Type 2, diagnosed after I had surgery in 2009, never displayed any symptoms, still don't. I made a few changes to Lifestyle, needed to be done anyway, take the tablets and just get on with life. The Diabetes Nurse is happy to see me once a year and that's the only affect it's had on my life.
