I'm due to have a CT scan of the heart this Saturday

I note in the notes with the appointment letter that it states -

'' We advise that you either use public transport or arrange for someone to drive you home ''

Given that it does not state that you should not drive ( which is specifically stated in other notes I've had for other things ) - would I be taking a risk in driving to and from appointment and if yes what would that risk be ?

Oi! ....that's racist.
Bazile, I always think it's best to take the advice of the hospital staff .
I had mine through the Femoral artery and wasn't allowed to drive home because if the wound opened up the loss of blood was serious. Another man insisting on driving home had to sign a form relieving the hospital of any responsibility.
maybe ask the hospital to advise u on that, i think its only a precautionary measure
