No, sorry. I will persevere, the breweries need all my support at this difficult time.
nope.
what for? A glass a day with dinner is enough for me anyway, and I'm not an alcoholic, since I function perfectly well without it.
No.
I'll decline your offer too, now is the not the right point in my life to be denying myself anything.
Yes, OK, Khandro I'm in.
Since my entire festive intake consists of 2 glasses of red wine and a beer it won't be difficult.
(How's the Sloe Gin coming?)
No it would be going against doctors' advice -he says 1-2 glasses of red wine a day has anti-inflammatory effects. He didn't, however, say how big the glasses should be.
od off.
No thank you..
I was thinking about it until I opened the fridge and found half a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. I don't like waste.
Not me, unfortunately. If I'm thirsty, I'll have a drink, but it doesn't have to be an alcoholic one, so I don't really have much to abstain from. I wish you well, however, in your plan. It can only do you good.
***, too late. Today's the 3rd and I've imbibed copious amounts already.
I am a lost cause!! :-)
Thank you for your kind offer and I wish you well but I enjoy my 2 G&ts a day.
Ridiculous, mamby-pamby mother state. I shall try my hardest to increase my alcohol level.
i see you can buy alcohol free gordon's now, so why not!
Is it OK to drink dry white wine?
//I see you can buy alcohol free Gordon's now, so why not!\\

What??? Sacrilege!!!
There are a few out there now bednobs, I bought one for my dad when he was no longer allowed to drink, we didn’t tell him and he thought he was having a naughty drink
Having had at least one bottle of dry white wine every night for the past ten days, so last night we decided 'No more wine'.. The wife sent me to get some milk earlier and I spotted a bottle of wine looking unhappy on the shelf... I couldn't just leave it there, so I rescued it and brought it home. It is looking a lot happier now it's in the fridge!
I will................

...................I'm teetotal anyway :o)
