If someone has a severe reaction to the first should they still have the second?

naomi, I can understand how you felt for it is not easy to self- diagnose when you have nothing previous to compare with. Not all heart attacks feel like an elephant sitting on your chest and I should know.

No problems here. Had it last week. Felt okay first night. Next day a felt a bit tired and tender and went to bed at 8 at night which is v.early for me. Got up next morning and felt fine, been fine since.
The whole thing was very well organised, credit to all involved, but what surprised me was how many people getting jabs were clearly lot's younger than me, some in there 30s- assume there health workers or have conditions. It seemed to me when your booking on line evn if your too young all that all you need to do is say you have conditions that entitle you to it.

// I do consider shaking uncontrollably from head to toe for quite some time and very debilitating flu type symptoms for two days to be rather severe.//
yeah if any member of the Naomi family then no definitely
for anyone else - it really is quite safe and should be ignored
am I allowed to say this? it covers all possibilities innit?

I would call them moderate but not severe....severe means you need medical attention in my book.

I don't think so. The lady behind me had an appointment number but obviously too young for the cohort being called so the bloke checking people in asked her (very nicely) if she was sure she should be there. I wasnt earwigging but was only a short distance from the desk and could not help hearing. She was a council fosterer for children with challenging behaviours and had to produce her ID.

Hi woofgang. Maybe, a heard them asking a couple of youngish people at the row of check-in booths about whether they worked in care work or something like that but din't hear there answers, and was expecting to be asked the same question but was only asked my address, date of birth, emergency contact and who my doctors was. Maybe they just assumed a looked like someone who was retired
I'm 42 and was asked a few times if I was a health or social care worker, three I think, the initial check in to give my appointment time, and some details, the next check in, where they found my appointment sheet and checked more details, then by the nurse who gave the vaccine.
I'm not in health or social care (eligible on medical grounds), but I assumed that, had I answered yes, I'd have been asked for some kind of ID or back it up. I assumed they are trying to prevent further incidences of links being shared, allowing people to book on before they are eligible, and get the vaccine by falsely claiming that they work in health or social care (or some other eligible criteria).
