If I've had a stomach bug the past 2 days, should I put off getting the booster? I was planning on going to a local walk-in either tomorrow or Saturday. Mind you, I may still not feel up to it tomorrow.
Yes although am not sure whether theyd refuse to give it for a stomach bug or still do it. So if pasta goes and they send her away its a wasted journey, so it depends whether thats an inconvenience for all. Pasta will weigh it up as he/she know more of the circumstamce's
Thanks for your answers. I'm inclined not to, but I'll see how I feel tomorrow. It's in the city centre, where I do all my errands, so we'll see.
All I felt like doing today was sleep.
Pasta, at our surgery you would be told to go home. The jabs are only done by Gps and nurses. I would trust their judgement more than those jabbing in the big centres. Tuck up and get yourself well. X
Given this evening's press conference, and the fact that boosters were opened up today to over-40s who received their vaccination within the last three (not six) months, I think you'll find that walk-ins will be very busy. I would get a booster if I could, but I wouldn't stand waiting for hours for one with a stomach bug.
