I have been meaning to say for ages. Absolutely no disrespect to you, but you mention taking Ibuprofen a great deal in your answers. It's a very good drug for all sorts of aches and pains, available over the counter and I would certainly take it. However, I can't take it because I'm on blood thinners and my husband cannot because of heart issues as it's an Anti-inflammatory drug.
We have quite a few friends in our age group in this situation because of various health issues who have also
Been told to avoid Ibuprofen.
I'm just wondering whether you should issue a warning that Ibuprofen cant be taken by some people and actually for them Paracetamol would be the answer. A lot of folk on here rely on you rather than consult a GP or pharmacist.
Just a thought. There are a lot of oldies on this site!!
Anti-inflammatory drugs of any kind should not be taken on an empty stomach. My 20 year old daughter has had her life ruined by being given steroids in an unnecessarily high dose and for a prolonged period of time resulting in osteonecrosis.
